Norman High School Library Rocks--- This video is a way of getting students familiar with the library. I would like to make a video similar to this one that would showcase my library. It would be one that the students would enjoy.
NHS Library Orientation was a great way for students to get to know the library and the librarians. This is a resource that the students could use to familiarize themselves with the library.

The librarians came up with an excellent way to get books to the students. If the students don't come to you, you must go to the students. The librarian takes a book cart to the cafeteria and offers books to the students. I loved this idea. The students will now have something to read and will give them a reason to return to the library.

This video was is a good resource for the students to refer to when trying to embed a video on Prezi. Students can use this video anywhere and refer and to it as many times as possible. Excellent video for not only for students but also teachers and staff to use for assignments.

This animoto video is great because it showcases the students at work in the library. I think the students would enjoy this because they get to see themselves in a video. I liked how the students were working on projects in the library.

In this video the students are having fun in the library. Students love to see themselves on tv, videos, or camera so they would love this.
Bring them back library books Parody---- This video was so cute the students would love it because they are so into Frozen. This was a good way to get the students to return their books and remember to bring them back.
Dr. Katherine and the Book hoarder--- The students do such a great job on this video about a Book Hoarder. They make of point of announcing how these books belong to the school.

QR codes can be used for a so many different activities. They can be used for learning about books in the library and linking books to websites. I have not used QR codes for books but have used them to connect parents to my library website.
I always enjoy reading the book A Visitor for Bear to my students and that was why I selected this book. This book is a book all students will enjoy and you can make it fun and entertaining for the students to listen to.
A Visitor for Bear (Bear and Mouse)
Cheery persistence wears down a curmudgeonly bear in a wry comedy of manners that ends in a most unlikely friendship.
Bear is quite sure he doesn’t like visitors. He even has a sign. So when a mouse taps on his door one day, Bear tells him to leave. But when Bear goes to the cupboard to get a bowl, there is the mouse — small and gray and bright-eyed. In this slapstick tale that begs to be read aloud, all Bear wants is to eat his breakfast in peace, but the mouse — who keeps popping up in the most unexpected places — just won’t go away!
Book Details: Format: Paperback Publication Date: 8/14/2012 Pages: 56 Reading Level: Age 2 and Up (less)
