Facebook Pages
I was on Facebook looking at many libraries and noticed that mostly all libraries that are on Facebook are libraries in High School, a few in middle school and even fewer were those in the elementary level. I liked how so many posts were about what is happening in the library such as a book fair, Dr. Seuss week, quotes and books that are popular. I also noticed how many librarians were posting that books were due because of the end of school year. Announcing on Facebook is a good way to get everyone up to speed on what is happening in the library. Brooks School Elementary Library displayed photos of students throughout the school year many of which had students with their library books. I enjoyed seeing all the possibilities I can do with my Facebook page for my school library.
