Blogs and Blog Readers

The blog reader I preferred using was Bloglovin.  This blog reader was so easy to use and I was able to find libraries and librarians with ease.  These blogs will give me wonderful ideas in my library.  I can follow these blogs to share and get ideas for future lessons.  I have highlighted a few of my favorite blogs below.  All of these blogs feature different ideas that are geared towards making students College Ready!!!

Super Easy Poetry Center | Mrs Lodge's Library

This post would be perfect to use in the classroom for a poetry lesson.  This was a great idea putting  butcher paper on the table and have students write a little something.  After students are done you can display the work for all to view then give to the teacher if wanted.

This was an excellent source for help with QR codes, Making book trailer tips, and using iPads in the library.  This sight was great because it provided videos and step by step guide.  This will help when making lesson in the library.

I like this blog because it provided lessons on Dictionary skills, Thesaurus skills, and Reference skills.  The Book Bug provided lessons and pictures of students working on assignment.  This is a something at I can do in the library with my students.  I also like how lesson are broken up by grade level.

In this blog the librarians shows many this book displays.  I liked this blog because I was able to see many ways I could decorate my library.  I also liked the librarian was able to show case herself in many pictures.  The students really like that.

The Daring Librarian has so highlights so much of her library.  I especially liked the Vine Book Trailers of the Fault in Our Stars and Harry Potter.  I like how the librarian featured the students in doing these Vine Book Trailers.

This is my tumblr acct that I was playing around with.  I also followed a few librarians and libraries.  On this post I placed two pictures and a quick post about what why I posted them.
